FALL. In love with stories.

The second year of the FALL festival at DOX brings together writers, poets, visual artists, and other creative minds working across different genres to discuss and celebrate the power of literature, storytelling, art, and our need for empathy in the digital age.

Manifold challenges keep testing our human limits today. Quickly evolving technologies, climate-related changes, disrupted social relations due to social media expansion and the COVID pandemic, and recently also the war in Europe – all of these are generating unprecedented pressures and changing the paradigms of our daily existence. FALL is an opportunity to slow down, listen, discover, and share. To see the world – at least for a moment – through the eyes of others. To step into their shoes – and their stories. To reflect and discuss why stories are important and how they can bring us closer together, how art can change our perspectives and sometimes even our lives. To ask if and how art, literature, imagination, and empathy help us form human bonds and how the advances of our impending artificially intelligent future prompt us to reflect on what makes us human.

Discussions, talks, readings. Meetings with authors, experts, and artists. Interdisciplinary workshops and guided tours of exhibitions. Ideas. Experiences. Discoveries. Welcome, join us, and FALL in love with stories.
